Still working on it.
Notes
The Ultra-Weak Photon Emission (UPE) is apparently the result
of chemical reaction due to oxidation that occurs in living things and is
called cellular respiration. This is the way the cells produce energy as part
of their metabolism. Cellular Respiration occurs in the tissue of the skin for
example and in this case the hands. According to the findings below oxidation
is also occurring on the surface of the skin. One problem is how to separate
the photons produced by the reaction on the surface of the skin from those
produced under the skin. The conclusion of this research is as follows;
1.) As the temperature declined, the intensity of the UPE
from the palm decreased. The higher the temperature the greater the cell
metabolism the lower the temperature the lower the cell metabolism.
2.) Oxygen concentration around the palm was lowered, the
intensity of the UPE from the palm decreased. Added or subtracting oxygen may
increase or decrease the oxidation reaction.
3.) Mineral oil between the photomultiplier tube and the
palm, the intensity of the UPE increased twice as much (may be explained by
refractive index matching). I think this is probably like a magnifying glass.
Background;
“The
existence of the UPE was not known before the 1950s because of its extremely
weak intensity (i.e., 10 to 104 photons s-1 cm-2),
but it has been demonstrated by means of photon counting techniques [3].
UPE is believed to be strongly related to mechanisms of life phenomena,
but at the present time almost all of the phenomena associated with the UPE are
poorly understood, including their mechanisms.”
UPE from the palm partly contains emissions based on
oxidation (describes the loss of an electron by a molecule, atom or ion)
reaction on skin surface as a potential., which indicates the UPE from the
inside of the skin certainly exists.
The fact
The company that makes the photon detector did the research
for this article. The efficacy of the detector should be determined by
independent peer review. In other words is this some scam device that doesn’t
really work or is it the real deal. However after reviewing several other
articles it appears these devices have multiple manufactures and are widely
used. They appear to be accurate and effective photon detectors. There is no
evidence here that the photons we produce affect other people’s autonomic
nervous system or any other tissue. A through literature review should be
conducted to determine if with this or other photon detectors a therapeutic
effect is noted from energetic healing techniques. Supposedly the detector can
detect disease such as cancer. The
effect of energy work before an after treatment could be measured..
